چکیده
Indian J Dermatol Venereol Leprol | September-October 2009 | Vol 75 | Issue 5 of all routine investigations were within normal limits. Results of HIV antibody test and Mantoux test were negative. Collagen profile was within normal limits. Histological examination of the tissue from the lesion on the left side of nose showed multiple follicular and parakeratotic invaginations in the epidermis, absent granular layer and scattered dyskeratotic cells. Underlying dermis showed chronic inflammatory infiltrate [Figures 3 and 4].

Actinic granuloma
Actinic granuloma is a rare, idiopathic disorder of middleaged adults that always appears in sun-exposed skin [1,2]. It is a form of granulomatous dermatosis characterized by annular plaques with central atrophy and raised erythematous margins that are similar to those observed in granuloma annulare (GA) [3]. A 42-year-old man presented with a three-month history of an asymptomatic erythematous...
متن کاملO’Brien’s Granuloma in a 50-year-old Chinese male
O’Brien’s granuloma is a rare skin disease that presents clinically by grouped red papules that may coalesce into annular plaques on sun damaged skin. The annular plaques have raised erythematous borders (3-5 mm)and slightly atrophic center [1].The hypo pigmented central regions are distributed mainly in sun-exposed areas. The sites of predilection include the neck, face, chest and arms. Early ...
متن کاملNonlocal DQM for Large Amplitude Vibration of Annular Boron Nitride Sheets on Nonlinear Elastic Medium
One of the most promising materials in nanotechnology such as sensors, actuators and resonators is annular Boron Nitride sheets (ABNSs) due to excelled electro-thermo-mechanical properties. In this study, however, differential quadrature method (DQM) and nonlocal piezoelasticity theory are used to investigate the nonlinear vibration response of embedded single-layered annular Boron Nitride shee...
متن کاملA 52-year-old woman with asymptomatic annular erythematous plaques
A 52-year-old woman sought medical attention because of several annular erythematous lesions with central clearing on her body since seven months ago. No pruritus or burning sensations were noted. Her medical and family history was unremarkable. Her Fitzpatrick skin photo-type was II. On dermatological physical examination, there were several annular erythematous plaques with raised borders and...
متن کاملGiant Verrucous Psoriatic Plaque encircled by Porokeratosis: An Enigmatic Histopathological Association
Porokeratosis is an inherited, clonal disorder of epidermal keratinization classically characterized by development of single or multiple annular lesions with raised, sharply marginated, keratotic ridge and central atrophy. This clinical presentation may vary with different types of porokeratosis but histopathologically unified by the consistent finding of ‘cornoid lamella’. Porokeratosis may d...
